Russia, Ukraine exchange overnight strikes that leave 7 dead, many injured

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been advocating for additional Patriot systems from other nations, especially the U.S., due to their scarcity resulting from the ongoing Iran war. Zelenskyy also proposes producing Patriot ammunition domestically or utilizing Elon Musk's Starlink satellite communications system to target Russian missile launchers from Ukraine.

In response, Kyiv has intensified its long-range drone strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, the country's largest online retailer, Wildberries, and other targets deep within Russia, contributing to a fuel crisis in the region.
