Yawning, food cravings, mood changes: These could be warning signs of a migraine
Many people dismiss recurring headaches, but recognising these early signs, which may appear hours before the pain, could help you get the right diagnosis and treatment, says Adjunct Associate Professor Jonathan Ong.
Migraine symptoms can manifest in various ways, sometimes long before the actual headache occurs. According to Adjunct Associate Professor Jonathan Ong, these early warning signs may include sudden food cravings, frequent yawning, and mood changes. Prof Ong, the president of the Headache Society of Singapore, emphasizes that these symptoms could be indicative of an impending migraine episode, rather than just a regular headache.
