France targets Shein and Temu with fast fashion fees

France has introduced fees on fast fashion retailers Shein and Temu to tackle environmental concerns from excessive production. The charges, part of a law passed in June, vary from €0.25 for a pair of boxer shorts or socks to €12 for a coat, capped at 50% of the product's pre-tax sales price (<source de4419af-c75>).
