The latest Apple price hike: Apple TV streaming service

Apple has increased the price of its Apple TV streaming service, making it $14.99 per month or $119 per year. The new rate supersedes the previous price of $12.99 per month or $99 annually. Subscribers to the Apple One Individual bundle will also experience a price increase, rising from $19.95 per month to $21.95 per month. The Apple One bundle combines Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage into a single subscription.

In October 2025, Apple dropped the "plus" from the service's name, previously called Apple TV+. When the streaming service launched in 2019, it cost $4.99 per month. Since its inception, Apple TV has expanded its offerings, now featuring original series and films like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, and Pluribus. Additionally, Apple TV provides access to all Major League Soccer (MLS) games.

The company has been raising prices across its products and services throughout the year, including a $500 price increase for MacBooks and iPads in June and a price hike for Apple Music from $10.99 to $11.99 per month. Now, Apple TV is the only streaming service affected by the latest price hike, potentially leaving the iPhone as the next target at Apple's upcoming September event.
