Takiyuddin questioned by ROS over Bersatu's PN complaint

Kota Baru: Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan revealed he was interrogated by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) after Bersatu lodged a complaint regarding the party's exclusion from PN discussions on cooperation for the Negri Sembilan elections. Takiyuddin stated that he was questioned by ROS officers for approximately four hours, missing Friday prayers in the process.

During a ceramah on current issues, he clarified that PAS had several reasons for not participating in the discussions, primarily due to Bersatu's actions that strained relations with PN. These included Bersatu's criticism of PAS and other parties during the campaign, as well as Bersatu's decision to use its own logo instead of the PN logo in the state election.

Takiyuddin also mentioned that PAS acknowledged Umno's strained relationship with Bersatu and its willingness to cooperate for the state election. He affirmed that PAS remained committed to making decisions based on what it believed was best for the party and the larger political cooperation within PN.
