Nagoya organisers regret Pakistan and South Korea travel mix-ups

The Aichi-Nagoya Games organisers have expressed regret over transportation and logistical issues that have marred the event. On Monday, a mix-up resulted in Pakistan's volleyball team arriving at the incorrect venue for their match against Uzbekistan, causing the game to be delayed. Pakistan captain Murad Jehan shared his disappointment on Instagram, calling it "another mismanagement" of the event.

The South Korean men's team also experienced a similar issue, as they missed their practice session due to arriving at the wrong location. Both teams inadvertently boarded buses headed for the wrong destinations. A Games spokesperson expressed sincere apologies to both teams for the inconvenience caused.

The Pakistan team was meant to travel to Okazaki for their match, but their bus took them to Inuyama, where the practice venue is located. The correct route was eventually determined, and the match proceeded after its start time was pushed back. Although the delay undoubtedly posed a major inconvenience, the organisers managed to conduct the match properly by adjusting the competition schedule.

Despite the disruptions, Pakistan managed to secure a 3-0 victory over Uzbekistan. The organisers had previously apologized for the transportation and logistical problems plaguing the Games.
