Two mass shootings in South Africa leave at least 27 dead

Two separate mass shootings in South Africa have left at least 27 people dead, according to police reports. The attacks occurred near the country's two largest cities, Johannesburg and Cape Town, on Saturday night and Sunday morning. In the first incident, 17 individuals were killed when armed suspects opened fire at a bar in Wedela township, southwest of Johannesburg.

The second shooting claimed 10 lives at a store in Lwandle, near Cape Town, around 1 a.m. on Sunday. These shootings follow a similar attack at a house party near Durban, which left 11 people dead, including a pregnant woman. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the recent mass shootings, and authorities are actively searching for multiple gunmen in both cases.
