Nancy Agyeman Duah's journey from financial hardship to becoming the top graduating student at Ho Technical University is a tale of resilience and determination. Growing up in Abuakwa, Ashanti Region, Nancy's parents, a mechanic and a sachet water vendor, worked tirelessly to ensure their children received an education. However, as time passed, the financial strain on the family intensified, making it increasingly difficult to meet the rising costs of tuition and other academic expenses.

Undeterred, Nancy persevered, relying on her parents' unwavering encouragement to stay committed to her studies. It wasn't until she discovered the MTN Bright Scholarship that her family's financial burden began to ease. Encouraged by a friend’s group chat and her brother-in-law, Nancy applied for the scholarship and was ultimately selected, providing her with the much-needed support to continue her education without the constant worry of how to pay for her expenses.

The scholarship was more than just financial assistance for Nancy; it was a crucial stepping stone that bridged the gap between her potential and possibility. With the support of the MTN Bright Scholarship, Nancy graduated with a CGPA of 3.96 out of 4, making her the Overall Best Graduating Student of Ho Technical University's Class of 2025.

Her achievement brought immense pride to her family, whose sacrifices had made her education possible despite their financial challenges. Today, Nancy has started a beauty business focusing on hair braiding and lash services, while preparing for her next ambition - a transition into the legal field. Her story serves as an inspiring testament to the power of determination, opportunity, and the right support system in achieving one's dreams.
