Pahang's Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail informed reporters in a Port Dickson briefing that the Chief Minister has made two police reports related to the announcement for lowering the Negeri Sembilan Yang Di Pertuan Besar, whom he claimed was forced to sign. However, Saifuddin refrained from further discussing the matter, stating that the police have begun an investigation after receiving the report. He emphasized that it is premature for him to comment on the allegations.

During the media briefing on Sunday, four bills were alleged to contain a document claiming that Tuanku Muhriz should be removed as Negeri Sembilan's Yang Di Pertuan Besar. Recently, some individuals, including Undang Luak Johol and Muhammed Abdullah, presented a proclamation document dated August 3 to lower Tuanku Muhriz, Tuanku Munawir as Negeri Sembilan's Yang Di Pertuan Besar.

Nonetheless, Ismail, who took the oath as Chief Minister in front of Tuanku Muhriz on August 2, claimed that he was forced to sign the announcement and submit a police report to initiate an investigation. He also stated that the document in question is invalid as it does not adhere to the procedures and practices under Section 10 of the State Bodies Act 1959 of Negeri Sembilan.
