The property, a Tudor-style estate built in 1940 for Trump's father, Fred Trump, was purchased by current owner Tommy Lin in 2018 for $835,000. Lin spent an additional $500,000 on an eight-month renovation, transforming the mold-ridden, neglected home into a modern abode with amenities like a chef's kitchen, herringbone wood floors, and spa-like bathrooms.

The home briefly changed hands for $2.14 million in 2017, shortly after Trump became president, and was listed for $2.9 million in 2019, but remained unsold until Lin acquired it. In recent years, the property has seen several owners, with the latest transaction resulting in a sale price of $1.93 million, as reported on real estate websites.

The seller remains anonymous. The home's transformation from a neglected property to a luxurious residence showcases Lin's investment in upgrading the property, while also providing a glimpse into the Trump family's history in the area.
