President Donald Trump’s childhood home sells for $2 million

Donald Trump's childhood home in Queens has been sold for $1.93 million after a $500,000 renovation. The New York City residence, built in 1940 by Trump's father, had been neglected and filled with mold before the extensive updates. The five-bedroom, three-bathroom property changed hands multiple times in recent years before being purchased by developer Tommy Lin in 2020.

Lin spent $500,000 on an eight-month renovation, adding a chef's kitchen, wood floors, and spa-like bathrooms. The seller, Tommy Lin, sold the home to a buyer through a contract entered in July. The home, now listed as an entity called Trump Birth Home LLC, had been briefly offered for rent on Airbnb and went unsold in 2019 before Lin acquired it.
