Samsung's official account jokingly tweeted, "I m so sorry, @duolingo. They copied us too #Solidarity," in reference to the name "Duo" used by Apple for its foldable phone and the foldable design, an area where Samsung has long held a lead with its Galaxy Z-series phones.

Duolingo swiftly responded to Samsung's jab, quipping, "when an ugly stranger calls you twin No Brand." The back-and-forth continued as Samsung playfully defended itself, saying, "Ugly?? Watch your language..." before Duolingo lightheartedly replied, "sorry twin heat of the moment twin.. please don't break my app on your phones twin."

The escalating exchange between Samsung and Duolingo turned Apple's iPhone Duo launch into a viral spectacle, garnering millions of views on X (formerly Twitter).
