Foldable iPhone Duo and iPhone 18: Everything on Apple’s latest phones, prices, pre-order dates, colourways, and more for the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and foldable iPhone Duo

Apple has unveiled their latest iPhone range in a high anticipated autumn launch, with the iPhone 18 Pro series and Apple's first-ever foldable phone, the iPhone Duo. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will be available for pre-order in Hong Kong from 8pm on Saturday, September 12. Pre-orders for the standard iPhone 18 and the more affordable iPhone 18e are expected in spring 2027.

The iPhone Duo will be available for pickup and official sales in Apple stores from Friday, October 23. The release strategy aims to generate maximum attention for the foldable iPhone Duo, while the Pro series dominates headlines this season.

The iPhone 18 Pro series colors include black, silvery white, light blue, and dark cherry. The dark cherry color is more of a brownish deep burgundy, replacing the previously rumored purple-based deep fuchsia shade. The iPhone 18 Pro Max and Pro models feature an aluminium unibody, available in the aforementioned colors.

The iPhone 18 Pro series boasts a 48-megapixel main camera with a variable aperture, powered by the A20 Pro chip. This marks Apple's first introduction of a variable aperture design in their smartphones, offering improved low-light photography and faster image capture. The A20 Pro chip also delivers a 50% increase in memory bandwidth and a 40% faster GPU, resulting in record-breaking battery life for the new iPhone 18 Pro series.

The iPhone Duo is Apple's innovative foldable phone, featuring a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display that spans both the inner and outer screens. The device has a titanium frame, scratch-resistant coating on the inner screen, Ceramic Shield, and an IP68 rating for splash, water, and dust resistance. The one-handed thumb operation is facilitated by shifting key components to the side and introducing a vertical Dock for intuitive multitasking gestures.
