iPhone Duo to AirPods 5: What Apple may launch tonight

The company is expected to unveil a foldable iPhone, new iPhone Pro models, Apple Watches, and AirPods during the "Surprise and Shine" event. While Apple has not officially confirmed the products to be showcased, reports from various sources, including Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and Reuters, have provided a clear picture of the potential offerings.

The most significant development is the rumored name for the foldable device: iPhone Duo. This is the primary focus of the event, with the phone expected to unfold into a larger, tablet-like display. The Duo will support two iPhone apps side by side, enabling iPad-style multitasking and Apple Pencil input. The device is rumored to debut in white and dark blue, priced starting at around $2,000 for a 256GB model, with prices increasing to approximately $3,000 for the 2TB version.

Analysts believe Apple's entry into the foldable market could significantly expand this niche premium smartphone category, addressing issues such as display creases, hinge durability, and device thickness.

Apart from the iPhone Duo, the event is expected to see the introduction of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, and AirPods 5.
