Story, injured since May 15 with a sports hernia, played with the Worcester Red Sox for 10 games, batting .171. Both players expressed excitement about returning to the Red Sox, particularly Story, who emphasized the significance of his surgery and the opportunity to contribute to the team's playoff push. Anthony and Story both left Worcester's game in the seventh inning, signaling their near completion of rehab assignments.
