Seattle Seahawks officially sign CB Terrion Arnold, who faces felony charges

The Seattle Seahawks signed cornerback Terrion Arnold on Saturday, despite the fact that he is currently facing eight felony charges in Florida. Arnold, 23, will be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list while his legal case is being handled. According to prosecutors, Arnold orchestrated the abduction and physical abuse of three individuals in February, accusing them of stealing $100,000 in cash and luxury items from him.

He became a free agent in June, when the Detroit Lions released him following the initial charges. The Seahawks agreed to terms with Arnold two weeks ago, but it remains unclear when he may be eligible to play for the team. Coach Mike Macdonald acknowledged the seriousness of Arnold's legal situation, stating that the team respects the ongoing process and allows him to earn a position on the roster.
