Grand Theft Auto 6's 'Extended Look' on Netflix is about to start — follow all the big GTA gameplay reveals live as they happen

Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look presentation is set to start on Netflix soon, giving fans their first official glimpse into the gameplay of this eagerly anticipated title. The event, which begins at 3PM ET / 12PM PDT / 8PM BST / 9PM CEST, promises to last just under half an hour and will showcase gameplay captured directly from a PS5 console. This exclusive content will first be available to Netflix subscribers before being released on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel and website six hours later.

The anticipation surrounding the reveal has been fueled by numerous gameplay leaks over the past week, many of which appeared to be a dev build of the game. However, it later turned out to be a series of 113GB of zeroes combined with a small virus.

Senior development figure Rob Nelson from Rockstar North emphasized the importance of character development in the game, stating, "The thing we love about this medium is the way these characters aren't empty avatars that you can do whatever you want with... Their story becomes a journey you share with them." This insight hints at the potential for more depth in the protagonist characters, Jason and Lucia, compared to previous GTA titles, where the gameplay often felt more prominent than the story.
