3 new ways to plan and book travel in Search

Three new features enhance travel planning in Google Search's AI Mode.

First, AI Mode now offers flight price tracking. By describing your desired departure, destination, and dates, AI Mode will monitor prices from over 300 airlines and travel sites, sending price alerts or email notifications when rates change. This tracking is available globally in more than 180 countries.

Second, AI Mode can show the cost of flights and hotels in points or miles. Simply specify your travel details and preferred rewards program when asking for options. The tool will instantly display the required points or miles for matching flights or accommodations based on current partner rates. Redemptions can then be completed through the partner site.

Finally, AI Mode now allows direct hotel bookings. After describing your trip and hotel preferences, AI Mode generates a visual list of options with guest reviews and key comparison factors. Confirming your choice and selecting "Continue on Google" leads to a single tap booking process via Google Pay, handling customer service from the hotel or booking platform acting as merchant. This service is now rolling out in the U.S. with key partners including Booking.com, Hilton, Expedia, Marriott, and Wyndham Hotels.
