BJP national president Nitin Nabin criticized opposition parties on Monday for their divisive attitudes and insults towards 'Vande Mataram', asserting that India's cultural and historical foundations are resilient enough to withstand challenges. Addressing a Samrasta Sankalp Diwas event at Talkatora Stadium, Nabin highlighted the 650th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas, emphasizing that the people of India will change their mindset.

He pointed out that India has been ruled by various dynasties, but their efforts to erode the country's cultural roots have been unsuccessful. Despite some individuals working to divide society, Nabin stated that the soil of India is so strong that it can transform the minds of those who insult 'Vande Mataram'. The BJP leader criticized previous Congress governments for attempting to divide the nation's resources along religious and social lines, but emphasized that their current government prioritizes the poor.

Nabin also unveiled the Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan, a scheme inspired by Ravidas' teachings of social harmony, which aims to bring the sacred soil of Varanasi to every district and settlement in Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the sacred soil will be distributed to every corner of the city through various programs, ensuring that Ravidas' teachings reach every individual.
