TTD urges employees to enhance devotee services

In a message to TTD employees on the 80th Independence Day, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary called upon them to elevate their level of service for devotees. Addressing the workforce after raising the national flag at his office in Tirumala on Saturday, Mr. Chowdary emphasized that technology, transparency, and systematic management would be key to improving pilgrim services, preserving the environment, and bolstering administration.

As part of their green initiative, TTD is set to introduce 37 extra electric buses, thanks to donor support, to reduce pollution caused by the 10,000-14,000 vehicles that enter Tirumala daily. Around 25 buses are anticipated during the upcoming Brahmotsavams. Mr. Chowdary also mentioned that an upgraded Integrated Command and Control Centre would provide real-time information on pilgrims, while technology-driven wildlife monitoring would enhance safety.

He highlighted recent initiatives such as a food laboratory, digital procurement platform, and Nandakam app, stating that they would enhance quality, transparency, and accountability. Mr. Chowdary urged employees to learn from past mistakes, accept constructive criticism, and continue serving devotees with dedication and human values.
