Ernakulam –Bengaluru Vande Bharat gets 16 coaches

The Bengaluru-Ernakulam-Vande Bharat Express, a high-speed train service, has been expanded from 8 coaches to 16 coaches, as announced by Southern Railway on Saturday. This expansion significantly increases the seating capacity, proving beneficial for passengers during the festive season. The augmented train, with 14 AC Chair Car Coaches and 2 Executive Chair Car Coaches, will commence operations from August 17, 2026.

Train No. 26651 will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 5:10 a.m., while Train No. 26652 will leave from Ernakulam Junction at 2:20 p.m. on Mondays. All terms and conditions apply, and comments must be in English and in full sentences, adhering to community guidelines.
