Middle East flights: Air Canada, Air France and Scoot extend suspensions

International airlines are extending the suspensions of their Middle East flights due to ongoing geopolitical tensions and operational uncertainties. Emirates announced that it would resume flights between Dubai and Bahrain on August 15, but the other two daily services remain cancelled. Air Canada has extended its suspension of flights to Tel Aviv and Dubai until mid-January 2027.

KLM has suspended flights to and from Riyadh, Dammam, and Dubai until September 6. Air France has suspended flights to Riyadh until August 21 and to Dubai and Beirut until August 25. Scoot's Singapore-Jeddah flights are suspended until September 12. Turkish Airlines has resumed flights to several Middle Eastern cities but continues to suspend operations to Iran.

Philippine Airlines has resumed flights from Manila to Doha but has suspended flights to Dubai until October 2. British Airways has delayed its return to the Middle East, with suspensions of flights to Dubai, Tel Aviv, Bahrain, and Amman until October 25 and reduced frequencies on other routes. Air Astana has suspended flights from Almaty and Astana to Dubai until August 31.

Finnair has extended its flight suspensions between Helsinki and Dubai until October 24, while its flights to Doha remain suspended for the winter season. Cathay Pacific has extended its suspension of flights to Dubai and Riyadh until October 25 and 26, respectively. Lufthansa has suspended flights to several destinations in the Middle East.
