Rambler, Magic Capture: All the new AI features coming to Google Pixel 11 series

Google unveiled the new Pixel 11 series at the Made by Google 2026 event, comprised of four smartphones: Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. These devices offer incremental upgrades in cameras, performance, and battery life, designed with Gemini Intelligence in mind. The Pixel 11 series brings new software upgrades aimed at improving everyday productivity, from all-new image sensors to enhanced accessibility features.

Gemini Intelligence updates include Google’s Gemini agent handling more than 40 apps and launching glanceable cards in open apps to provide contextually relevant suggestions. The Pixel 11 series can also share location-based insights in preview. A new voice input feature called Rambler, powered by Gemini, transcribes conversations accurately, even with filler words.

Google also updated Gboard with Sign-to-text functionality, allowing sign language users to naturally communicate through messages, powered by Google DeepMind’s SL2T model. Magic Capture captures quick shots with a single tap, automatically applying edits like cropping and unblurring. The Camera Looks feature lets users choose aesthetic options for their photos before taking them, with six additional looks available.

A new Bubble feature allows users to access apps like the browser, Calendar, or Gemini as floating windows. Circle to Search has been updated to identify subjects in the camera viewfinder, providing instant information about flowers, planting tips, or more. Live Translate translates videos and audio in real-time using on-device AI models powered by Google Tensor G6 processor. Creator-focused features include social media gridlines, an on-screen teleprompter, and Storyboard for video editing.
