Third one down: Ukraine keeps destroying Russia’s $1.8 million Starlink jammers

Ukraine's defense forces have confirmed the destruction of a Russian electronic warfare system designed to jam Starlink at Gelendzhik in southern Russia, according to Militarnyi. The Ukrainian drones targeted the machine at a border-guard base during their sweep of the Black Sea coast. This marks the third such destruction of this jammer, as reported in open sources.

The Volna Kupol Garant system, costing about $1.8 million each, is built from trailers carrying satellite antennas and is capable of scrambling Starlink terminals across up to 20 km². Despite Ukraine's inability to use Starlink over Russia, its deep strikes now reach hundreds to thousands of kilometers into Russian territory. Ukrainian drone crews increasingly target air-defense batteries, radars, and jammers in occupied territories, making subsequent Ukrainian strikes more successful.
