OnePlus has launched Android 17-based ColorOS 17 early for four devices in India, including the OnePlus 13 and 13R. The updates, rolling out starting October 26, introduce interface enhancements, performance improvements, and AI-powered features. Initially scheduled for October 30, the OnePlus 13R received the software a week earlier on October 27.
OnePlus 13, 13s, and 15R users will receive updates in batches, with exact timelines for the US still unknown. The rollout follows the earlier ColorOS 17 release for the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Pad 4. Users can opt-in to migrate from OxygenOS to ColorOS, with rollback options available but data-erasing. The update is currently confined to India, with no US rollout announced yet.
