Maxime Lopez, who had not scored a Ligue 1 goal in nearly eight years, netted two crucial goals for Paris FC in their 2-1 victory over Stade Rennais on Sunday. The Parisians, currently leading the race for European spots in Ligue 1, took a 2-1 half-time lead. Lopez, who plays for the Parisian club as a former Marseille player, scored his first two goals of the season and his first since January 2019, when he scored against AS Monaco for Marseille.
