I love everything about KitchenAid's new stand mixer except its price tag — here's an alternative that's 46% off

As someone who adores KitchenAid products, I couldn't resist when the brand invited me to check out their latest 2026 Design Series Luminaire Artisan Plus Stand Mixer. The mixer's appearance truly captivated me – its LED lights illuminating the hardened glass bowl while it spins is a remarkable feature. However, the AU$1,249 price tag held me back from making a purchase.

Although I know KitchenAid stand mixers are usually pricey and often don't see major discounts, the Luminaire's cost seemed especially steep. Fortunately, there might be a way to save on this coveted appliance.

Currently, Amazon is offering up to 46% off the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer KSM195 in various colours. The biggest discount is specifically for the Empire Red and Almond Cream versions. For instance, the Empire Red Artisan KSM-195 Stand Mixer, which originally cost $1099, is now priced at $597 – its lowest price ever on Amazon.

This deal includes the mixer with two stainless steel bowls, a pouring shield, and essential attachments like a dough hook and flat beater. The same discount applies to the Almond Cream colourway, although it's only available in limited colours on Amazon. Additionally, the mixer is discounted to AU$679 on the KitchenAid website.

If you already own a KitchenAid stand mixer and want to explore more of what the brand offers, I've listed some of my favorite products below. The Cordless Go range, powered by an interchangeable battery, is a versatile option. For those who prefer fully automatic coffee machines, the KitchenAid KF8 Coffee Machine in porcelain is an excellent choice.

Additionally, KitchenAid's Cordless Go 5 Cup Chopper and Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment, as well as a 3-Piece Pasta Roller & Cutter Attachment Set, are all great bargains right now.
