Galaxy Watch 8, Watch Ultra get another One UI 9 beta to chew on while waiting for a stable release
Galaxy Watch 7 gets a slice of the pie too.
Samsung is currently distributing newer One UI 9 Watch beta versions for the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 7, and Watch Ultra to testers, ahead of a stable release. This update incorporates the October security patch and addresses various bugs. Following the stable One UI 9 rollout for the Galaxy S26 series at the end of September, Samsung is rapidly advancing and extending support to eligible older flagship models.
Recent deliveries have included the stable update to Galaxy S25, S24, S23, and older foldables. Given this progression, Samsung's imminent focus is on upgrading older Galaxy Watch models to align with the latest smartwatches introduced this July.
