FBI Director Kash Patel and his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, announced their engagement on Sunday, sharing the happy news via social media. Wilkins posted a black-and-white photo of the couple, smiling together while she held a diamond ring, along with a message featuring ring and heart emojis. Patel subsequently reposted the announcement, adding his own ring and heart emojis to the post.

The couple's relationship, which has been public for over three years, has often been a topic of public interest since Patel assumed his role as FBI Director in 2025. Patel, 46, and Wilkins, 27, first met at a party hosted by country singer John Rich. Despite their increased visibility, Patel firmly denied allegations regarding his travel arrangements last year, dismissing them as "fake news" and defending Wilkins against what he called baseless attacks.

Apart from their public relationship, Wilkins is currently involved in a separate legal matter. In June, she filed a defamation lawsuit against media company Versant and two journalists, alleging that the reporting falsely depicted her behavior during a social event. The suit claims that the coverage damaged her reputation and presented misleading information about her actions. The defendants have since moved to dismiss the case, but it remains pending.
