FBI Director Kash Patel gets engaged to longtime girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins

FBI Director Kash Patel has gotten engaged to his longtime girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, the pair announced on X. Wilkins, 27, posted a photo of herself with Patel, 46, holding a ring and captioned it, "Went and got the law involved." The couple has been dating since before Patel took over as head of the FBI in 2025, when Wilkins attended his swearing in.

Wilkins, who has been involved with conservative groups and released her debut album in 2023, has been a performer at events like President Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair. Patel, who reposted the photo, has faced criticism for using government aircraft for trips with no apparent law enforcement purpose.
