JPJ gantung khidmat MyEG, Zetrix AI sebagai ejen pemungut

The Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) has announced that it will suspend the services of MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd starting October 5, 2026, following the expiration of their contracts with the agency. JPJ Chairman Aedy Fadly Ramli stated that this decision was made after considering the company's adherence to the terms and conditions of the agreement, as well as the unresolved obligations the company still has to fulfill.

The suspension will affect all JPJ services that were previously offered through the MyEG network, including the usual channels and alternatives such as JPJ counters, MyJPJ application, JPJ public portal, and independent JPJ kios. These kiosks will handle tasks such as renewing vehicle licenses, driver licenses, paying fines, and exchanging vehicle ownership.

Computational Driving Test (KPP01) appointments scheduled through the MyEG channel before October 5 will still be honored and can proceed as usual. The move comes after the Ministry of Transportation reported that Zetrix AI, formerly known as MyEG Services Bhd, owes JPJ over RM200 million in overdue payments related to vehicle registration fees, driver license fees, and traffic fine collection.

The report claims that Zetrix failed to deliver the required funds since the beginning of its three-year contract with JPJ in May 2023. The company was renamed from MyEG to Zetrix AI in July 2025.
