Sanwo-Olu meets security chiefs ahead of Tinubu’s visit

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured residents and visitors of heightened security measures ahead of President Bola Tinubu's visit to the city. During a security council meeting with top officials at State House, Marina, the governor pledged to continue efforts to prevent criminal activities and protect everyone during the end-of-year period.

According to the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, the governor was briefed on all security activities and plans to strengthen the system in anticipation of increased activities associated with the festive season, political events, religious gatherings, and cultural celebrations. The meeting included key figures such as the Commissioner of Police, Tijani Fatai, and commanders from the Lagos State Command, Nigerian Navy, and security trust fund.
