Sanwo-Olu meets security chiefs ahead of Tinubu’s visit

In preparation for the end-of-year period, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu assured residents and visitors of enhanced security measures during a recent meeting with security chiefs at State House, Marina. According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, the governor received an overview of "all security activities and plans to strengthen the system ahead of the end-of-year activities."

Sanwo-Olu emphasized the state government's commitment to preventing criminal activities and protecting the well-being of residents and visitors. The meeting took place as Lagos prepared for increased activities, including the visit of President Bola Tinubu and the expected influx of visitors during the festive season. Other events slated for the Yuletide include various religious and cultural activities, as well as political engagements following the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission that campaigning can commence.
