HH the Amir, Saudi crown prince, Dutch king discuss regional developments

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani engaged in telephone discussions with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, as well as King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands. The conversations aimed to explore bilateral relations and recent regional developments.

During one call, HH the Amir and Crown Prince Prince Mohammed discussed the close ties between Qatar and Saudi Arabia. They explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation across various sectors. They also exchanged insights on regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability.

In a separate conversation, King Willem-Alexander initiated a call with HH the Amir. They spoke about the relationship between Qatar and The Netherlands, and ways to deepen cooperation in shared interests of both nations. They also discussed recent regional and international developments, with a particular emphasis on diplomatic efforts to contain tensions and ensure the security of maritime routes and freedom of navigation.
