Trump heads to GOP strongholds Alabama and Oklahoma to campaign for midterms

While some stops were considered outliers, the overall strategy is to maximize his presence in key areas.

The campaign's financial condition also poses a challenge, with Republican groups, including Trump's MAGA Inc. PAC, facing cash shortages. In response, the Senate Leadership Fund has increased its spending in Texas to $100 million, highlighting the party's growing worries about the Senate. Even in more competitive states, Trump is expected to campaign in conservative areas to boost the party's prospects.

Some Republican lawmakers have distanced themselves from Trump on various issues, such as the Iran war, economy, and immigration. Despite these internal challenges, Trump's political team remains optimistic about their ability to drive turnout, believing it to be one of their greatest assets in the November elections.
