PH, Bersatu in 'table talks' over Melaka election cooperation tonight

Melaka Bersatu and Pakatan Harapan leaders gathered for an exclusive dinner ahead of the upcoming state election in Melaka. The attendees included Bersatu information chief Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, election director Mohammad Ali Mohamad, and others. The dinner, held at a hotel in Melaka, was reportedly not focused on any specific agenda, but rather provided an opportunity for the leaders to discuss preparations for the electoral events.

Hishamuddin Karim, Melaka information chief, clarified that the dinner was merely an informal meeting to exchange views on the election preparations. The dinner is part of ongoing negotiations between Melaka PH and Bersatu, with the aim of forming an alliance for the polls. Adly Zahari, Melaka PH chairman, stated that the state chapter was finalising discussions with other parties, including Bersatu, to create a "PH Plus" alliance. However, it was mentioned that Barisan Nasional was not included in these talks at this time.
