Hamas hits back at Ben Gvir after video shows him threatening Palestinian detainee

Hamas has responded sharply to Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir after a video surfaced showing him threatening to kill Palestinian prisoner Hassan Salameh. The Palestinian movement strongly condemned the provocative video, which they view as yet another egregious violation of international law by Israel.

However, Hamas insisted that such intimidation would not deter the resolve of its prisoners or the movement itself. The organization pledged to continue making every possible effort, through all levels and means, to secure the release of Salameh and other Palestinian detainees from Israeli jails. They remain committed to this goal until the prisoners are finally freed.

Hamas also warned that the fate of figures like Ben Gvir, who espouse fascist ideologies, would mirror that of other notorious war criminals throughout history.
