국민대 글로벌창업벤처대학원, 미국·호주 대학과 AI 창업교육 협력 확대

National University of Singapore's Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Graduate School (President Jong-sul Lee) has expanded its collaboration with major universities in the United States and Australia, focusing on AI-driven startup education. The institution's AI Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center (AEIC) is striving to build a global network for startup research and education by establishing cooperation with relevant universities.

The common challenge is to redesign startup education and curriculum to suit the AI era. The school recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Sydney, Australia, inviting Associate Professor Gary to AEIC's Global Fellow program. Both sides agreed to conduct joint research projects, student exchange, and multi-year collaborative projects.

AEIC is also negotiating a joint program with Rolla University's Hilton Graduate School of Entrepreneurship in Los Angeles, USA, which maintains AACSB international accreditation. The university offers undergraduate entrepreneurship majors, an entrepreneurship innovation master's program, pitch competitions, startup weekends, and the interdisciplinary collaboration space, Business Innovation Zone.

The AEIC plans to utilize insights from these universities' trials and their current operational methods to enhance the graduate curriculum. The Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Graduate School has included the goal "AI is used as a tool for entrepreneurship and management" in its five-year educational objectives. In the coming years, the school aims to implement this goal in each course, determining specific competencies through joint review with overseas universities.

The goal will be implemented in the venture planning course, which runs every three semesters, focusing on how to integrate AI and evaluate its outcomes. This year, the AEIC plans to hold a symposium at National University of Singapore's Main Campus in October 24th, unveiling its research organization and global fellow system. Additionally, the school intends to hold a colloquium on AI and startup education throughout the year.
