“Regional extinction can't be replaced by AI”… People who turned crisis into opportunity

A year-long series, "Our Neighborhood Has Something Special," has been documenting communities that are proactively making changes to counter the crisis of regional extinction. Experts Park Cheol-hoon and Kim Tae-hyun, who have closely observed numerous cases of success and failure in various regions, shared their insights on what makes a neighborhood special.

They identified key factors, including people with a willingness to solve problems, unique ideas, investment, and supportive networks. The experts also emphasized the importance of trust, cooperation, and proper support systems, citing examples of successful and failed projects, and suggesting that a balanced approach between market principles and community distribution is necessary for sustainable development.
