How to check 2026 NECO result revealed

The National Examinations Council, NECO, announced the release of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, Internal results on Thursday afternoon. According to Professor Dantani Wushishi, Registrar NECO, 804,948 candidates, which make up 58.67% of those who sat the exam, obtained at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

To check the 2026 NECO result, follow these steps:

1. Access the NECO result portal by clicking on the link provided or typing results.neco.gov.ng into your browser on your phone.

2. Choose the examination year, which should be 2026.

3. Select the appropriate examination type, such as SSCE Internal.

4. Enter your NECO Result Checking Token if you have one. Candidates who do not possess a token can purchase one through the official NECO result portal by following the payment instructions.

5. Carefully input your NECO registration number and double-check for any errors before clicking "Check Result."
