NECO 2026: Here’s how to check your Scores

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal results. According to the examination body, 84.70 percent of candidates obtained at least five credits in the examination. This result includes candidates who achieved five credits or more, regardless of their performance in English Language and Mathematics.

To access individual scores, candidates can visit the official NECO result-checking portal at results.neco.gov.ng using any internet-enabled device such as a phone or computer. Upon reaching the portal, candidates should select 2026 as the examination year and SSCE Internal as the examination type to proceed with the result-checking process.

Candidates must enter their NECO result-checking token in the designated field. If a candidate does not have a token, they can purchase one through the official portal. After entering the token, candidates need to input their NECO registration number in the appropriate field. It is crucial to double-check the registration number and token for accuracy before submitting them to ensure the correct result is displayed.

Once the information has been entered and verified, candidates should click "Check Result" to view their individual 2026 SSCE Internal results. If candidates experience any difficulties during the result-checking process, they should confirm that they have selected the correct examination year and type. A stable internet connection is also essential, and candidates should recheck their registration number and result-checking token if the result does not appear immediately upon submission.
