Adobe expands creative tool access to Google Gemini, brings Acrobat to Claude

Adobe has announced two significant expansions to its AI chatbot integrations. The company is now making its creative tools available on Google Gemini, in addition to Claude. Adobe has been integrating its creative tools into various AI chatbots and productivity tools, including ChatGPT, Slack, and Copilot. Today's updates bring further enhancements to this effort.

For Claude users, Adobe is adding Acrobat tools to the plugin. Users can delete, combine, or split pages in PDFs, redact sensitive information, and convert or export PDFs to other file formats. With the interactive editor, users can reorder pages, edit text, add comments and highlights, and utilize the Document Review skill to analyze documents for recommendations and notations.

Moreover, Adobe's layer-based interactive editor for Express designs allows users to refine individual elements of their designs, such as selecting and customizing images, colors, and fonts.

Google Gemini users across all plans can now access Adobe's creative tools directly within the conversation. Adobe's tools include Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express, and Firefly. Users can describe their desired outcomes, and Adobe will orchestrate the appropriate tools and steps to achieve those results. Some of the capabilities now available in Google Gemini include creating consistent, polished product photos, turning designs into social media content while preserving branding and messaging, and customizing professionally designed templates for marketing needs.
