Dataiku debuts cross-platform Agent Management, expands Cobuild building agent

Enterprise artificial intelligence platform Dataiku Inc. launched a new standalone product called Agent Management, designed to find and track every AI agent a business runs, including those built on other vendors' platforms. This product aims to address a gap in how large companies manage their AI agents, with research showing that fewer than one in five organizations maintain a complete and current inventory of their AI systems.

Agent Management establishes a single inventory by connecting to the platforms where a company's agents run, with connectors available for Salesforce Inc.'s Agentforce, Amazon Web Services Inc., Microsoft Corp., Google LLC, Databricks Inc., Snowflake Inc., and custom environments through the OpenTelemetry standard.

Each agent entry maps the tools and models they depend on, allowing supervisors to understand how they function. The software also assigns a standing record of certification status and named risks to the riskiest agents, with tests run on a schedule to provide an evidence trail for auditors or regulators. Agent Management sits above vendor-specific monitoring tools, which tend to favor a specific vendor's agents, enabling portfolio-wide answers to questions about risk concentration and cost-effectiveness.

Users can ask plain-language questions about their AI agents, and the software will provide analyst-quality answers. The update to Cobuild, Dataiku's natural-language agent for building AI projects, continues to expand its capabilities. The new Cobuild Insights feature allows any employee to ask questions of governed company data and receive analyst-quality answers, which they can then use for deeper data work inside Dataiku.

Additionally, Dataiku Headless brings Cobuild to developers using coding agents like Anthropic PBC’s Claude Code, OpenAI Group PBC’s Codex, and Space Exploration Technologies Corp.’s Cursor. This enables developers to build or change pipelines, models, and agents within their existing tools, as well as convert external workflows like Microsoft Excel or Alteryx into governed projects.

Overall, Dataiku is addressing the growing challenge of managing AI agents across various platforms and teams, aiming to provide a unified solution that improves visibility, governance, and business value for enterprises adopting AI technologies.
