Pertemuan MB N Sembilan, bekas exco dan Tunku Nadzaruddin batal

On September 9, the meeting between Negeri Sembilan's Chief Minister Ismail Lasim, former exco member Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar, and other high-ranking officials was canceled due to safety concerns, according to Sinar Harian. Initially, the meeting was intended to be a casual get-together and reconciliation session among Tunku Nadzaruddin, Ismail, and a former exco member.

It was also expected to include a fourth Unding Yang Empat and Shahbandar Sungai Ujong. The development came at a time when Negeri Sembilan faced constitutional crisis due to the questioning of Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir's legitimacy and the announcement of a subsequent state council meeting that affirmed the legality of the cancellation.

On September 17, the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) rejected a statement aimed at removing Tuanku Muhriz as the state's Yang Dipertuan Besar, and the subsequent announcement of the state council meeting's affirmation of the legality of the cancellation. AGC stated that the statement was invalid and that the Chief Minister and exco member did not have the authority to remove the state government.

On September 20, Tuanku Muhriz canceled the appointment of 10 exco members due to their alleged breach of oath. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim then met with Tuanku Muhriz.
