Meeting between Negeri Sembilan MB, exco and Tunku Nadzaruddin cancelled over safety concerns

A meeting between Negeri Sembilan's Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim, state executive councillors, and Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar was called off on Monday due to safety concerns. The state executive councillors had planned to meet at the Tuanku Ja’afar Royal Gallery at 9am to strengthen bonds between the Menteri Besar, their team, and Tunku Nadzaruddin.

The meeting was cancelled after authorities advised organisers to consider the present situation and security factors. Ismail instead had breakfast with the executive councillors and several government assemblymen earlier. Earlier reports had suggested that the meeting would be part of a ceremony expected to include Tuanku Nadzaruddin, the Undang Yang Empat, Tunku Besar Tampin, and Datuk Shahbandar Sungei Ujong.

This follows Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir's decision to revoke the appointments of all 10 state executive councillors. Ismail has maintained that his council is still valid and will continue its duties.
