2027 Elections: Beware of impostors –NNPP warns Nigerians

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has cautioned the public to steer clear of impostors who claim to represent the party in the run-up to the 2027 general elections. Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, the founder of NNPP, revealed this during a statement issued in Abuja. He informed that certain individuals, previously expelled from the party and confirmed by court judgments and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), are attempting to extort money from other political parties and candidates by posing as NNPP leaders.

"All contestants, whether coalition or individual political parties, who may have been duped, should return to the impostors for a refund of their money paid as contestants' fees or for an alliance," Aniebonam stressed. NNPP, as the authentic party, will not be part of any coalition and will make decisions about strategic alliances, if necessary, after the elections, Aniebonam added.

The authentic NNPP is identified by its "basket of fruits" logo and will announce the names of its recognised officials, serving as the party's authorized representatives, according to Aniebonam.
