Premium materials and striking design set Googlebook apart

Google is introducing five new premium laptop models called Googlebook, priced starting at $899. These devices boast top-of-the-line materials such as aluminum, magnesium alloy, and carbon fiber, resulting in lightweight, sleek, and robust laptops. Each Googlebook features a touchscreen display with resolutions up to 2.8K, allowing users to view content clearly even in direct sunlight without experiencing glare.

In addition to their high-quality build, Googlebook laptops offer an array of powerful features. They come with touchscreens and come equipped with processors from Intel, Qualcomm, and MediaTek. These processors are paired with advanced Neural Processing Units (NPUs) capable of processing over 45 TOPS of on-device AI power, enabling users to perform complex AI tasks without the need for loud or disruptive fans.

Each Googlebook includes a 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, providing 5TB of cloud storage and access to Gemini Advanced tools. Additionally, customers can enjoy 3 months of YouTube Premium, Adobe Photoshop, and other creative software subscriptions. The laptops also come with a Glowbar feature that lights up during startup, displays battery level, and supports customizable animations. Google is collaborating with developers to enable them to create their own interactive animations using the Glowbar.

Googlebook OS comes with regular feature updates and enhancements for up to 10 years. Pre-orders are now available on the Google Store, Best Buy, and other select retailers. The devices will be available in the U.S. starting October 4 and in select international markets, including Canada, the U.K., Ireland, France, Germany, and Australia, on October 5.
