Trump creates ‘AI Force’, floats ‘supreme intelligence’ as new name for AI

Washington, September 20 - US President Donald Trump vehemently defended artificial intelligence and data centers against criticism yesterday, vowing to safeguard the industry's progress. In a message on his Truth Social platform, Trump claimed liberals intended to "decimate" or "destroy" AI, asserting that he would not permit this to occur.

He pledged to nurture the AI industry, stating, "We will not in any way hinder or stifle the Growth of this incredible Industry. Rather, we will cherish it, help it, and watch over it, as it grows!"

Additionally, Trump announced the establishment of a government "AI Force" to identify and address potential threats from malicious actors, along with the imminent appointment of an AI coordinator or "Czar." Despite polls indicating widespread public skepticism towards AI and safety concerns from industry experts, Trump dismissed these warnings, labeling them as a "hoax."

He argued that the US faced a technological race with China and emphasized that the nation possessed the intelligence needed to remain ahead, crediting President Trump's intelligence and leadership for this advantage.
