IDF prepares West Bank mass-arrest operation, demolition of Neveh Tzuf terrorist’s home - report

The IDF is set to conduct a mass-arrest operation in the West Bank village of Biddu, home to Neveh Tzuf terrorist, according to Army Radio. The village, situated near Ramallah, will see suspects apprehended and the terrorist's home targeted for demolition, the report added. IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir visited the attack scene on Sunday, branding it a "severe terrorist attack," and emphasized that the IDF acted swiftly to apprehend the perpetrator.

Our mission is not complete, Zamir stated, adding that the IDF will impose a closure on the village and investigate to uncover those who aided the terrorist. Army Radio reported the terrorist as a 37-year-old Hamas operative who had visited the attack site on Saturday to prepare. While Hamas praised the attack, it did not officially claim responsibility, referring to it as a heroic act carried out by one of its people.

The terror group asserted that the operation is a justified response to settler incursions and the desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque. Security officials told Army Radio that the terrorist acted alone in both the attack and his escape attempt.
