Anahat Singh eyes Asian Games gold and a ticket to LA 2028

The Korean men's national football team faced a setback during their Asian Games trip when they missed a crucial recovery training session. Organizers of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games overlooked providing an official bus for the team, leading to the delay. The team was set to meet at a field in Handa, approximately 40 kilometers south of Nagoya, Japan, at 10:30 a.m. for a post-match recovery session following their 4-0 victory over Qatar in their first Pool D match the previous day.

However, the organizing committee failed to deliver the designated vehicle to the team hotel, causing the Korean team to struggle in finding an alternative bus. After a few minutes of searching, they finally arrived at the venue at 10:50 a.m. This transportation mishap was not the first for the Korean football team during their time in Japan.

Earlier on Tuesday, the team arrived at the stadium for their match against Qatar at Nagoya City Mizuho Park Rugby Field about 30 minutes later than scheduled due to the team bus driver getting lost on the way.

Interestingly, the Qatari team also encountered similar transportation issues. On Monday, their head coach, Lee Min-sung, was a few minutes late for his pre-tour press conference.
